1.this book took place at a high school. At the high school almost nobody cared about homework newspaper and they were really unorganized like Germany was after world war one. I think the event happened in the 1960's through 70's because most of the high school kids liked to smoke. I got this info on page 3 where Laurie Saunders describes how they would not give up there cigarette's to finish there school paper.
1. one thing that is described in the book that makes me think it was different was because kids smoked a lot. Also what makes me think so is because before they watched the world war two film
was in a roller and they only used roll films a while ago. Last I think it was 20 years ago is because school wasn't as organized as it is now.
2.one sentence that grabbed me was "they saw emaciated starved so severely that they appeared to be nothing but skeletons wrapped in skin". the reason i chose that line was because it really gave me a picture of what they really looked like. I also picked it because it was amazing to me that anyone could watch it happen or do that.
Q. Why do you think he wanted to show the video to his class before they started the experiment?

Q. I think that he wanted to show the video to them before the expriment because he didn't know that he was going to do the expriment. Also because he wanted the class to get a general overview of it.
1. I agree of the setting of this chapters are in the high school. Also about the part that it is 1960 to 1970. I think you are right about it being about 20 years ago. Also about the film because it was long time ago when America used it.
Q. Well Mr. Ross didn't know that he was going to do the experiment untill his class asked him the questions after the video.
2. I liked the sentence you chose. I felt the same way I could picture it.
Q i think he wanted it to show the video first so he could get a better idead to do that expirement.
1 i like how you describe that first part because it is really especifict.
