1. The Kawashimas had to leave Korea because In Korea the Japanese were in danger. Also because the Japanese women were getting raped every day. Like when the women was going to the bathroom the man came and took her away and raped her.
b. I agree with their decision about leaving hideyo. I agree with them because if they stayed longer their chances of getting raped.
2.Why do you think the people only allow 100 people onto the boat.

1. A - I think that is was a good thing for them to leave. I would leave too. I think it is really scary just to know that such men exist that would bother to even rape a girl or woman.
B - I agree but I don't just think that it is the fact that they would get raped but the fact that they might get killed and be dead. I think I would rather leave then be dead.
Group Question - I think that they only allow 100 people on the boat because there isn't enough room for more people and also they might not want the people to get squished.
