I chose this quote because it showed that that character doesnt want to give something up. I can understand this because he has already given up so much that its hard for them to give up things willingly.
I can relate this to me because I remember having to give up something that I really cared about. i felt like it was the end of the world and I was very sad without it. P.S It happened when I was Five years old.
Question: how would you feel if you had to pretend something didnt exist and you had to give it up?

I chose this quote because it shows how the hardships they had faced were tests of their strength and their will. I also think this quote says that the hardships they faced were more dificult than any other hardship that anyone has faced.
I can connect this to me because I have been tested, but not even as close to as hard as they have been tested. Like at practices they test our strength and endurance with pushups, sit ups, crunches, laps and some other stuff.
Question : have you ever been physiclly tested?How?

Question #1: I think that would be pretty hard to pretend something that didnt exist to give it up. So it would be a wierd feeling.

Question #2: I have never really been physically tested. Just in the doctors.
