i chose this quote because I dis-agree with him thinking it weird that women inspect men. Even though it is an opinion i think that it is really strange that he thinks that women inspecting men are strange, I mean, they do it all the time.
Character judgement: what this tells about Valentino is that he is baffled by some of the most normal things imaginable.

I chose this quote because it showed how hungry they were. it also showed that they were desperate and that they needed all the food they could get and that there was a great scarcity of a lot of things. It also showed that they had very few luxury's.
This showed that Achak was desperate and he would try anything. it also showed that the lost boys were willing to do anything short of killing people.
Question #2: would you do this if you were desperate?
