the museum of contemporary art is an interesting place to put things in perspective. when i went there were many peculiar art pieces. Like the cube of tooth pick, which is just a buch of tooth picks in a cube held together by gravity and thats it. there was another one made up of just plastic cups. It took more than a thousand cups to make it. It said thats how many plastic cups were used a minute in the USA alone, I thought to myself "oh my god thats insane for one country. are their really that many of us?" the answer i came up with was yes as i thought " there are too many people in America for us to have disposable items. if it were like 1000 people it might not be a big problem. But there are 36 million, and not enough recources for us to use disposable items like this." Something has to be done.
