I chose this quote because it made me think. In my whole life nothing that gruesome had ever happened near me. I think it must be horrible for him to have lost one of his best friends for nothing.

The upper significance of this quote is that life can be taken away at any moment. Another meaning is that stuff happens that is out of our control and that it may happen to anybody at any moment so you should get friends while you can.

Question #1: If Moses didn't run do you think that he might have lived?

Quote #2: -Get up!
I heard a voice I knew. I turned to see a boy standing over the body near his uncles hut- it was a women lying on the ground, her hands in fists at her side.
Get up!
it was moses. he was standing over a woman,who was his mother.

I chose this quote because it was interesting to me at how his denial took over him. I also think that if you are in that much denial something bad must have really happened to them for that to happen.

The upper meaning of this quote is that you shouldn't deny it, just accept it. Even if it is so horrible like someone close to you dying cause its not healthy to do that. and an example of this is when moses denied his mom was dead, and a few moments later he was killed trying to get his mother up because he was spotted.

question #2: what do you think would happen if Moses mom was still alive and he wasnt yelling at her?
